FAQ - AMI Days

Hello Tiger families!  I wanted to reach out to our London families to give more details about our AMI days and hopefully answer any questions that you might be wondering...

Teachers will be sending home devices today and going over assignments and expectations for students.  They will know what to do.  We are talking daily about the importance of learning and being committed to learning at London Elementary.  We are encouraging students to keep that commitment even on AMI days.

We do have safety features on devices that will alert us if a student is not following expectations or attempts to access inappropriate websites.  I told the students today that I would be calling parents if I get an alert from their device.

According to the AMI plan for the district, students will be counted absent if AMI work is not completed.

If you or your child needs assistance on Thursday or Friday, staff will be available by messaging them or calling them between the hours of 8:00 and 4:00 each day.  Staff will be at school on AMI days.

If your child is absent today and does not have their device at home, you may come by the school and pick it up.  Calling the office to let them know before you come will be helpful so we can make sure we have everything ready for you.

If you have questions that this did not answer, please give us a call in the office and we will be glad to help you!

Thank you so much in advance for your support at home.  We appreciate you!
